Set in five acres of beautiful private English country gardens with its own one acre lake this country-style hotel offers the perfect setting for intimate weddings where attention to detail is paramount.

The original house dates back over 500 years and was converted into a hotel in the early 1960s by the Newling Ward family. They still remain as private owners, which gives the hotel its unique flavour.

The 30 bedrooms are individually styled with a blend of classical and contemporary decor to create a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. This welcoming feel is continued through to the lounge, bar,and highly-acclaimed orangery-style Lake Restaurant. Located close to the city centre of St Alban's Hertfordshire, formerly the ancient Roman city of Verulamium, and near the famous Abbey Cathedral you will find this lovely manor house hotel a very special wedding venue.

The St. Michael's Manor Summer Evening Wedding Fair is the perfect place to start planning your wedding. Packed with leading inspirational exhibitors from the St Albans area and beyond offering services and products covering every aspect of your wedding and those that you might not have considered. Whether you are seeking a gorgeous cake or just advice, help is on hand.

There will be Fashion shows at 6:30pm and 8pm on our signature catwalk featuring the latest bridal designer gowns and often menswear too. Plus, you can relax and listen to great live music and entertainment.

Knowledgeable staff from St. Michael's Manor will be present to show you around and to discuss your wedding plans and ideas.
