The Galleria, constructed in 1991, was part of an ambitious plan to boost retail space in Hatfield. Imagine this: the A1m, a bypass of the old Great North Road from London, was ingeniously built as a tunnel with The Galleria perched on top. This all-glass marvel was designed to celebrate Hatfield's rich aeronautic history.

Before the tunnel officially opened, there was a grand celebratory day where the public could walk through the then-closed tunnel. It was a vibrant scene filled with charity stores, music, and so much more.

Today, The Galleria stands as a renowned retail, leisure and dining destination, drawing shoppers from near and far, thanks to its close proximity to London. This enclosed, light, and airy shopping haven also serves as the perfect exhibition space for this wedding fair.
